I. Preliminary Statement
Pursuant to Federal Rules of Civil Procedure 26 and 34, DEFENDANT hereby submits these objections and responses to Plaintiff's First Set of Requests for Production of Documents (the "Requests"). DEFENDANT has not yet completed its investigation of the facts pertaining to this action, and discovery is ongoing. The responses set forth below are made on the basis of information presently known to DEFENDANT and reflect a reasonable inquiry into the facts and documents within DEFENDANT's possession, custody, or control as of this date.
DEFENDANT expressly reserves the right to supplement, amend, or correct these responses as additional information becomes available. By responding to any of the Requests, DEFENDANT does not concede the relevance, materiality, or admissibility of any document or category of documents identified, and reserves all objections to the use of any such document at trial or in any other proceeding before [COURT NAME].
The production of any document by DEFENDANT shall not be deemed a waiver of any objection asserted herein, including objections based on attorney-client privilege, the work-product doctrine, or any other applicable privilege or immunity. Each response is made subject to, and without waiver of, the General Objections set forth below, which are incorporated by reference into each specific response as if fully restated.
